Netflix WaterShip Down

This caught my eye the other day on Netflix it is more of a mini series than movie however.  I can remember reading this book back when I was about fourteen which was many years ago.  It also caught the eye of my nine-year old daughter as it of course had animated rabbits.  To be honest, I couldn’t remember much about the book just that it was large.  I was a little concerned that it may be a little much for her.  However, after watching it I feel it was well produced and would recommend this for anybody curious about it.

Bird Box

Ok so I decided to check this movie out based on all the hype about different blindfold challenges going around social media.  Didn’t know what to expect and had my doubts but was surprised it kept me watching.  Kinda got tired of the jumping back and forth time line. For a horror/thriller movie would recommend this one.

Dumplin’

So on the recommendation of a relative my 9 year old daughter and I recently watched Dumplin’ on Netflix.  Cute movie about an overweight girl who enters a beauty pageant. The rub is that her mom is an ex pageant winner and currently in charge.  Has some good laughs however does deliver a powerful message about acceptance.  I would recommend this movie.
